Xilisoft Video Converter Platinumis a simple, straightforward tool that enables you to convert video files between a wide array of formats, with special attention to mobile phones, handheld gaming consoles and multimedia players such as iPod, iPhone, iRiver and Zune.

Xilisoft Video Converter Platinum is a bit simpler than the other version, Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate. It doesn't include any of the editing tools you can find in the other version, but it works perfectly fine if you don't really need them.
Xilisoft Video Converter Platinum also features a built-in video player you can use to preview the video you're about to convert. Sadly the program was a bit too unstable and crashed every now and then during video conversion.
